5 basic components of physical fitness

1. Goal Setting

A personal physical fitness routine can often end in disaster when an individual fails to set personal goals, with the intent of training towards their achievement. The number one priority in physical fitness is to orient oneself with the true desires in regularly practicing a fitness routine, and further training in a way that allows the desired goals to reasonably be accomplished in an allotted time frame.

2. Nutrition

As stated in previous lessons, fitness training is of no use without the implementation of proper dietary technique, and further practice in daily nutritional habits that are oriented towards the previously noted fitness goals. Fitness training will only deteriorate the body if proper nutrition is not regularly followed.

3. The Set Schedule

It remains a MUST that a designated fitness routine be first outlined in a way which set specific days and even times in which a fitness routine will be practiced and carried out. Without a previously set fitness training schedule, it will note easy to simply put off training one day at a time until the individual soon realizes that an extended period has passed without regular training or exercise.

4. Weight Training

If your body permits regular physical activity, then there is no reason to ignore the regular implementation of a weight training routine into a fitness schedule. Men and Women alike benefit heavily from the regular practice of weight lifting, and should not ignore its uses for any reason. Weight training is vital in improving all areas of health, and increasing the resting metabolic rate, allowing the body to burn more calories in a resting period.

5. Cardiovascular Training

In conjunction to weight training, no fitness enthusiast should ignore the amazing benefits noted in cardio training, whether it is running, biking, jogging, or MMA. The heart remains the most vital organ in the body, and should be treated as such. Beyond the factors of physical and internal health, cardio training further allows heavy reduction in body fat, and allows the regular practicing enthusiast to look great, perform even better, and feel better than he or she has ever felt before.
