What are Classrooms?
Classrooms are enviroments to hold lessons, discussion and to meet like minded members.
Classrooms could also be looked at as a way to group or catergorise lessons.
So creating and choosing the right type of classroom for you lesson is an important part of managing your lesson and making the most of your experience on clivir.
Classroom and lesson relationships
- A lesson must belong to a classroom
- A lesson can only belong to one classroom
- A lesson can be moved to a different classroom anytime
- A Classroom type (as described below) can not be changed after creation
Classroom types
PUBLIC

- Anyone (public) can view classroom lessons
- Any member can add lessons to classroom
- Any member can comment on classroom and lessons
- Title can not be edited after classroom creation
- Classroom avatar can be edited by classroom creator anytime
- Any member can enter Discussions
Suggested for: Those who want to have their lessons side by side with anyones in a classroom. E.g. Anyone
SEMI-PUBLIC

- Anyone (public) can view classroom lessons
- Only invited can add lessons to classroom
- Any member can add comment on classroom and lessons
- Title, Description and tags and avatar can be edited after classroom creation
- A banner image with link can be added
- Any member can enter Discussions (Classroom creator can remove option for discussions)
Suggested for: Anyone who would like to control lessons in classroom and prehaps self promote work. E.g. Businesses, Training companies and freelancers. This lesson is in a semi-public classroom.
PRIVATE

- Only invited can view classroom lessons
- Only invited can add lessons to classroom
- Oonly invited can view and add comments classroom and lesson
- Title, Description and tags and avatar can be edited after classroom creation
- A banner image with link can be added
- Only invited can enter Discussions (Classroom creator can remove option for discussions)
Suggested for: Anyone who would like to have control on who contribute and joins. E.g. School teachers or private tutors
