So most people know just by fiddling with the iphone a bit that if you hold you finger on an application they start to wiggle and then you can move them around and delete added applications.

So what about the Dock?

The dock is the bar at the botton of the iphone that has by default the PHONE, MAIL, SAFARI and IPOD. Well it is not immediately obvious but you can change the icons on the dock.

Moving icons from the main 'desktop' to the dock intially doesn't do anything. This is because the dock is full.

Changing the Dock

1. Unlock phone and go to 'desktop'

2. Rest finger on icons to make them wobble ( the added application will show a x so you can delete them)

3. Move a docked icon out of the dock

4. Move required icon into dock now that there is free space

Now I can have sms on the dock because I need to access this more then I do the ipod.
