If you have read my previous lesson, you should have some basic knowledge about muscle building routines. In this lesson, i will teach you how to make use of a good muscle building routine to gain muscle mass.


Firstly, what you want to put on here is lean, quality muscle mass. I hope you are on the same side as me. There is no point in putting on huge amounts of mass that do not look toned or defined. To build muscles that are toned and defined, you need to make use of a muscle building routine that alternates between gaining mass and defination. In my previous lessons, i have mentioned that heavy weight low repetition workouts are for mass gain and light weight high repetition workouts are for endurance and defination.

Although muscle building programs can provide you with high quality and fast working muscle building routines, some of you might prefer saving up the money in your wallet. In this case, you should plan your own muscle building routine. Below is one routine that will help you gain high quality, defined muscle mass.


An example of a good muscle building routine is one that switches between light weight high repetitions and heavy weight low repetitions. For an example, you can workout your chest and triceps on monday, with high weight low repetitions for mass gains. On tuesday, workout your abs and your biceps. On wednesday, try to rest. It is important that you include rest days in your muscle building routines. Muscles only grow when they recover from tears. By stressing your muscles, you're not going to see growth! On thursday, continue your muscle building routine with low weight high repetition workouts for your chest and triceps.


By planning a similar muscle building routine, you are on your way to the fitness model body!
