HP Pavilion dv2
Product Introduction:
HP Pavilion dv2 uses new AMD Athlon Neo CPU and is available at a very low cost with 4GB RAM.

Design and Features:
HP Pavilion dv2 is a slightly bigger 12 inch laptop with sleek, slim mirror finish having the look of a very expensive machine. The 12.1 inch LED display monitor has 1,280x800 resolution to display its contents in a much better way.The notebook is powered by AMD Athlon Neo CPU. Only windows vista is supported. HP Pavilion dv2 has 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3140 GPU to support discrete graphical applications like games. The keyboard has flat, closely knit keys and is comfortable to use. The touch pad has a mirrored finish but isn’t so easy to use.

While performing many tasks simultaneously and while handling high end applications like image processing the processor performance comes in quite handy. It is better than Intel Atom in many ways particularly in the graphic interface as it comes with inbuilt ATI Radeon Graphics. The screen is good to watch high definition videos and the keyboard has an improved, easy to use flat design.
The Good:
Low cost, wide screen display with high resolution, AMD Athelon Neo CPU and good graphic support with ATI Radeon are the advantages.
The Bad:
The battery life is rather pathetic. The mirrored touchpad which is does not function up to mark and the lack of optical drive are the laptops drawback.
The Bottom Line:
HP Pavilion dv2 combines the features of an ultraportable system and simple dual core laptop and comes in a price which is quite affordable. It has the drawbacks of the normal laptops like low battery level as well as the advanced features of ultrathin systems like improved processor and built in graphic support.

3 Stars (Good):
A product with 3 star rating has strengths that outweigh its weaknesses. Users should be aware that this product has some minor faults that should be taken into consideration.
