JVC GR-D850 MiniDV is a very inexpensive compact camcorder providing excellent quality pictures. The camcorder’s main highlight is its 35x zoom.
Design and Features:
The camera has a 2.7 inch LCD screen.The whole set is quite compact and weightless.

The 35x Konica Minolta optical zoom lens is its main highlight. The camera has an inbuilt illumi-light LED and features for noise reduction. The LCD monitor has automatic backlight control as well. GR-D870 has special features like Dual recording and live slow features. We also have multi language switch is capable of showing the menus and on screen display details in seven different languages.
There is a dedicated Auto button to switch between auto and manual mode easily. Super High-band Processor used enhances the speed of the computer to a great level. The camcorder also features 3 dimension noise reduction techniques to provide superior quality audio.

Performance:
The best quality lens used in the camcorder captures bright images and broad zoom ratio. The images are captures with utmost sharpness and full detail. Even when the images are magnified up to 35 times the cameras maximum option the images are still clear without any pixilation and noise.
The LCD monitor is of excellent quality providing the best view of the images we are shooting. The auto LCD backlight option automatically adjusts itself to enable easy image capture in dim and very bright light conditions.
The speed of the camera is attributed to its excellent processor. The menu settings are very easy to navigate and all the buttons are placed in an angle easy to operate. Another remarkable feature is its ability to show the recording time and remaining battery, so that we will know well in advance when the camera will switch off.
The good:
High speed processor, Multilanguage onscreen function, easy to use interface and excellent quality video and still pictures are the main advantages of the camcorder. 35x zoom with dual operation and live slow mode is another amazingly attractive feature.
The bad:
There isn’t anything to complain about the product except for its slightly low battery life.
The bottom line:
This is by far the best camcorder with such amazing features and excellent design. It is amazing how this camera is offered in such a low price tag. This is a product which cannot be missed by any person who is interested in photography.
