Performance:
The performance of the phone could be rated excellent. There is a 3 megapixel camera capable of taking excellent quality pictures. There isa built in accelerometer which switches modes according to the necessity automatically. Most of the features in the phone are touch sensitive which responds quite well. Tiny white rings appear at the back of the menu indicating the touch had been registered. There are many photo editing options in the phone. There is special operating system called Palm WebOS which works quite faster and is more protective as well.
The Good:
Presence of a physical QWERTY keyboard is a definite advantage. The touch sensitive screen responds well. Integrated 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth options add more to its value.
The Bad:
There is no memory expansion slot. The battery life is very low. More advanced facilities like flash onscreen keyboard which were expected are missing.
The Bottom Line:
Though there are many missing features, Palm pre Sprint is still a desirable device for people who like mobiles with latest technologies. But it is definitely not suitable for professionals.
Rating:3 star rating ***
3 Stars (Good):
A product with 3 star rating has strengths that outweigh its weaknesses. Users should be aware that this product has some minor faults that should be taken into consideration.
