Weight Loss Vitamins - Supplement To Help Lose Weight
Weight loss vitamins can be a great supplement to help lose weight. They contain the necessary vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that can assist in taking off the extra pounds. Increasing physical activity and eating the right foods are other factors that can assist in taking off the extra weight.
There is no doubt that with losing weight, you will begin to notice an improvement in your overall health. Taking dietary supplements will ensure you are getting the recommended daily amounts of nutrients while you shed the pounds. But what are the right supplemental vitamins to take that will help lose weight?
Weight Loss vitamins:
An important amino acid required for metabolism is L-Carnitine. This coenzyme is soluble in water and aids in turning food into energy for the body. It also reduces serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which can help to prevent coronary artery disease. Cholesterol deposits in the arteries, causing them to narrow and hinder blood flow to the tissues. L-Carnitine deficiencies can occur as we age, during stress, obesity, and in the presence of chronic conditions such as diabetes.
Coenzymes help to facilitate the work of enzymes and produce energy for the cells. In addition, it is a powerful antioxidant that provides protection to the cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. However, this supplement is not without the potential for adverse reactions, such as nausea, sleep disturbances, and itchy skin. Stop taking this supplement should these reactions occur.
Is a fat soluble weight loss vitamin and powerful antioxidant that fights against free radicals and helps prevent heart disease. Vitamin E has blood thinning properties, which call for precautions when taking this vitamin in conjunction with other blood thinning medications. Talk with your doctor before taking any dietary supplements to avoid adverse reactions with other medications you may be taking. Discontinue use prior to surgical procedures as per your doctor's orders.
Vitamin E can be found in whole pure food sources, such as oils, almonds, peanuts, and Sunflower seeds.
This mineral helps the body change carbohydrates into energy and helps reduce body fat. Chromium increases insulin action. It is normally found in meats, whole grains, fresh vegetables, and fruits.
The B Complex Vitamins:
The B complex is comprised of eight vitamins that play a role in every action in our bodies, including production of red blood cells and metabolism of fats, carbs, and proteins.
B Complex Also Contains:
- Thiamin for energy
- Riboflavin to synthesize carbohydrates, fats, and proteins
- Niacin for a healthy nervous system
- Pantothenic acid for stimulation of the adrenals and release of energy from ingested foods
Most all of the vitamins we need to maintain health can be obtained from eating a well balanced diet. However, we cannot possibly eat enough to the recommended daily requirements our bodies need.
While losing weight can be a challenging prospect for anyone, eating the right foods, dietary supplementation of vitamins and nutrients, and increasing physical exercise will work to get rid of extra weight and improve health.
