Power yoga is not simply a series of poses. It will most likely attract and suit people who are already quite in shape, enjoy exercising, and wish for a least amount of chanting and meditation with their yoga.

Bikram Yoga:

This yoga can be done in 26 postures in a particular order in a room of about 38 degree centigrade and these are very intensive.

Kundalini Yoga:

It consists of mantras, relaxation and meditation. It focuses on "purifying" the mind and emotions. Kundalini yoga is planned to turn on the Kundalini energy which is in the in the spine.

Mantra-yoga:

It is also known as “yoga of potent sound," which focuses on verbal repetition of sounds, such as "om”.

Steps to Develop a Breathing Procedure:

The following are the steps to be followed to develop breathing procedure from Ujjayi Pranayama yoga:

Begin the breathing technique by taking five deep breaths. This helps us in relaxing our body.If you are using the Ujjayi Pranayama to heal insomnia, while doing exercise you should close your eyes. After that, try to tense your throat muscles. At this position, you will be able to visualize breathing through a hold in the throat. This kind of exercise is also called as 'ocean breath'. It is so called as the sound that will be made by the passing of air through the throat.

The important point in this step is to breathe through the throat instead of through the nose. Visualize as if you are in a calm and peaceful beach with only the sound of the waves as your friend. Continue this exercise till you relax completely and fall asleep finally.

Advantages of Ujjayi Pranayama technique:

It performs inner purification, activation and revitalizing along with external control and conditioning all at once.

Ujjayi Pranayama heals lung related problems such as Tuberculosis and Asthma and also cures heat in the head.

It lowers the blood pressure.

It will help you fight successfully against sleeping disorder.

Enhances digestive capacity and improves proper functioning of the respiratory systems.
