Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra was known before many years by the yogis. Yoga Nidra is a condition in which one is in Deep Sleep and yet Conscious. The very word Yoga Nidra refers to Yogic Sleep. While meditating, we remain conscious and we focus on the mind, by allowing images and patterns to begin and continue. Yoga Nidra is a condition of relaxing, it is also used by Yogis to clean the Samskaras, the deep parody that are the driving force behind Karma. It is a general principle, and is not the exclusive for recent traditions.

Stages of Yoga Nidra:

The first state in Yoga Nidra is the Waking state. The second state is the Dreaming state. The third is the state in which we go to Deep Sleep. The fourth state is Turiya. Yoga Nidra is further than the psychological and imaginary process of the Dreaming and waking states.
